Image of a Patient at Hammond Health CenterFrom sore throats to flu shots; STI testing to x-rays; medication dispensary to student health insurance information; and lab services to nutrition counseling, Hammond Health Center provides high-quality health care to IC students. Staff help ensure that our community stays healthy by sharing best practices for remaining well and by collecting new students’ health and immunization histories (as required by New York State law). Access the myICHealth portal by using your Netpass log-in credentials. See Hammond Health’s website for new students for additional details. Please submit your information now—including your COVID-19 vaccination cards—so you’ll be ready for the fall semester!

IC Tradition: IC Natural Lands

Image of Students at the Natural LandsIthaca College is home to lush forests dubbed the Natural Lands. These sections of campus are home to outdoor classrooms, research projects, walking trails, and much more. While some areas are reserved for projects to preserve biological diversity and maintain and enhance ecosystems, others are used for classes like Environmental Sentinels, Outdoor Adventure Pursuits, and even a simulated archaeological dig site. Check out the Natural Lands, whether by exploring them in your free time or taking one of these cool courses !

Student Org Spotlight: IC Young Entrepreneurs Organization

Image of Students Analyzing Statistics on a TV ScreenThe Ithaca College Young Entrepreneurs Organization is student run. Our goal is to foster entrepreneurship and generate business ideas through interactive discussions, guest speakers, case studies, and live demo days. We also work with members who want to start their own businesses. We are open to all students regardless of major; there are no requirements to join except a desire to learn more about entrepreneurship!

Community Connection: The Aurora Streatery

Image of of the Aurora StreateryThe Aurora Streatery is located in the 100-block of Aurora Street (just down the hill from campus); the block is closed to cars in order to provide space for outdoor dining for the many eateries on Ithaca’s so-called “restaurant row.” Staples include Red’s Place, Viva!, Mahogany Grill, Luna’s Street Food, and more. It’s a great place to enjoy an evening in Ithaca!
