Annual Performance Review Period: March 3 – May 3, 2025
The annual performance review period is just around the corner, starting March 3 and ending May 3, 2025. This process plays a crucial role in fostering growth, aligning goals, and recognizing accomplishments, providing both employees and managers with an opportunity to reflect on the past year and plan for the future.
This year, we're introducing some exciting changes based on your feedback, making the process more efficient and user-friendly. We’ve simplified the review forms to reduce the number of competencies and streamlined the direct report and peer feedback forms. Additionally, requests for direct report feedback will now be automatically issued, further enhancing the process.
Key components of the performance review:
-
Self-Assessment: Reflect on your Accomplishments & Results, Competencies, and Goals/Growth/Development/Improvement.
-
Direct Report and Peer Feedback: Provide impactful feedback with a single textbox, making the process quicker and easier.
To help complete the review process, we’re offering 13 training sessions, covering topics such as system navigation, writing effective reviews, and using AI to make your assessments more impactful. These trainings will guide you through every aspect of the review process, ensuring you have the information and resources you need.
Find resources such as Knowledge Base Articles in the HR Help Desk and HR Website, along with a full training schedule to support you throughout the review period. If you have questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to submit a ticket.
Make the most of this review period—reflect, set goals, and use the feedback process to drive your growth and success in the year ahead!

Important Reminder Regarding 2024 Flexible Spending Accounts

This applies to both Health Care and Dependent Care FSAs, ensuring you are reimbursed for eligible expenses incurred during the 2024 plan year. Claims must be submitted by this date to avoid losing any unused funds, as FSAs generally follow a "use it or lose it" policy. Be sure to review your receipts and documentation in advance to ensure timely submission. For questions about your FSA or how to file a claim, contact your benefits provider or Human Resources. For questions or additional guidance, please reach out to Inspira Financial at 888-678-8242 or visit InspiraFinancial.com.

Changes to Student Employment
As announced last fall, Student Employment has transitioned from Human Resources to the Center for Career Exploration and Development (CCED). This change aims to enhance the student employment experience by integrating job opportunities with career readiness resources.
In addition, by centralizing these services within CCED, student employees will have greater access to tools and guidance that will help them not only find student employment positions but also develop essential skills for post graduate opportunities. Supervisors of student employees will benefit from streamlined communication and support, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to effectively mentor and develop their student workers in alignment with career goals.
More information about student employment can be found here.
