We would like to extend our community a kind welcome back to IC as we enter the Spring Semester of 2023. Please read below for the Office of Human Resources recent updates and reminders.
Form 1095-C
The Affordable Care Act requires employers to provide their employees with an annual Employer Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage Form 1095-C. This form includes information about any health coverage offered to you. In addition, we are also required to file a copy of the form with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Ithaca College Form 1095-C's for the 2022 calendar year were issued via mail January 17 and 18, 2023. These forms may also be accessed through ADP (see below).
Steps to Register for ADP
Employees also have access to electronic copies of W-2 forms dating back to 2020 through ADP. One can view and print as many copies desired, once forms are made available. All employees will need to register with ADP W-2 services and select whether or not you wish to receive a paper W-2 or if you prefer to view and print the electronic version as soon as your W-2 statement becomes available. If you are electing a paper W-2, please make sure that your address is correct in HR Cloud. - Go to https://my.adp.com
- Click Create Account
- Click I have a registration code, then enter the Registration Pass Code: IHA1NY-Bombers
- Enter Legal Name and select W-2 Services as the Service
- The following information is required for validation purposes:
- Employee ID # - This can be found on your payslip in the IC HR Cloud
- Company Code – UGX
- Employee Zip Code (home address zip code)
- Full Social Security Number
Employees will be assigned a system generated User ID and will be required to select a unique password. The password must contain between 8 to 20 characters and at least one alpha and one numeric character. This information should be saved as it will be required for future access. Employees who do not register with ADP W-2 services will be mailed their W-2 by the end of January.
Annual NYS Preventing Harassment and Discrimination Training
Every academic year, all Ithaca College employees are required to complete a New York State-mandated training to combat harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Employees should have received an email to complete this training directly from the HR Cloud. The training is self-paced and will take an estimated 1.5 - 2 hours to complete. You do not have to complete the training in one session. You may exit the training and resume where you paused at a later time.
We are aware that some of you have experienced technical issues while completing this training and are currently working with our vendor to address these issues. In acknowledgment of that, we have extended the deadline to complete this training to February 28, 2023. We will continue to monitor these issues and adjust the due date further if needed. If you experience technical issues, please visit this Team Dynamix article for troubleshooting tips. General questions regarding this training should be directed to your HR Business Partner.
Onboarding Changes Are Coming!
As was previously communicated, we will be implementing some changes to our new employee onboarding process to enhance our new employee experience. This will include adding an in-person component. In-person sessions will begin in March. More communication to follow soon!
We Want Your Feedback!
The Ithaca College Office of Human Resources is committed to providing excellent service that is accessible and beneficial to our employees and business units. We value our relationship with you, and we take seriously our commitment to making Ithaca College an employer of choice. In an effort to gather feedback to ensure we are honoring that commitment; we would appreciate it if you would please take the time to complete the HR Effectiveness Survey that will be launched next week. This survey is designed to evaluate and assess the service offerings provided by the Office of Human Resources and to determine areas of growth in our communication, our response time, our trainings, and our programs. This survey is also designed to give you the ability to anonymously provide feedback about your relationship with the Office of Human Resources, and we invite you to be honest about your experience with our team. Please keep an eye on your email for that survey next week!
