IC Thrive: Employee Benefits and Wellness Fair

Join us for our annual employee benefits and wellness fair, this year titled IC Thrive, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm in Emerson Suites. IC Thrive is designed to provide benefit-eligible faculty and staff the opportunity to meet with our benefit providers and community partners, to gather information and ask questions as they prepare for the upcoming annual open enrollment period. Please join us for some delicious food, exciting raffles, and a chance to connect with a wide range of campus and community resources.

Flu Shots Available at the Benefits and Wellness Fair

In addition to the Flu POD Event referenced above, flu shots will also be available to all Ithaca College employees and retirees during the IC Thrive event. Those enrolled in medical insurance through Ithaca College or elsewhere, should bring their insurance ID card for the flu shot clinic. Wysa: Your New Digital Self-Care App

Ithaca College is excited to announce that we have launched Wysa, a new health and wellness self-care digital application, free of charge to our Ithaca College community, which includes all faculty and staff regardless of benefit eligibility status, as well as their dependents!

Click Here to download the Wysa App on your phone or mobile device. You can also download the Wysa App from the Apple, Android, or Google Play store and utilize the referral code ithaca2024 to get the premium Ithaca College customized version of the App.

Wysa serves as an additional self-care support tool for mental and emotional wellness and is not a replacement for a licensed mental health provider. Additional resources for individuals in need of ongoing clinical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions, are encouraged to utilize the resources available through NexGen EAP.

Valuable Resources Available Through NexGen EAP

As a reminder, Ithaca College benefits-eligible faculty and staff have access to a variety of helpful resources through NexGen EAP, including counseling, legal consultations, financial guidance, and much more. Be sure to check out NexGen EAP’s new video highlighting the support and resources available to you.
