Fall Welcome 

Image of Students Viewing a Map at Ithaca CollegeThe fun doesn’t end with Orientation! Fall Welcome will provide you with more opportunities to engage with your new community on and off campus. Participate in the first-year organization fair, an outdoor screening of “The Breakfast Club,” a silent disco, a nighttime star party, hiking and swimming, yoga on the A&E lawn, and much more.

Fall Welcome extends from August 21 until September 5. Register for Fall Welcome events on IC Engage: ithaca.campuslabs.com/engage/organization/2021fallwelcome/events

Family Weekend 

Image of Families Taking a Tour at Ithaca CollegeNovember 5–7: Ithaca College invites your family and supporters to visit campus for a weekend full of events specially curated to provide a snapshot of student life. Events will include the Interim President’s Welcome, student performances, a football game, a Handwerker Gallery tour, movie night, and more.

Office Highlight: Dining Services 

Image of Students Eating at Dining HallDining Services is so excited to serve you nutritious and delicious food! Our two dining halls—Terrace Dining Hall and Campus Center Dining Hall—and our retail locations—Food Court, Towers Marketplace, and Ithaca Bakery—opened at the start of the semester. We plan to open all other retail units as soon as we are at full staffing capacity. Please check our website for updated hours of operation.

We are looking forward to servicing our students, faculty, and staff. Please do not hesitate to email Dine@ithaca.edu if you have any special dietary needs or restrictions. From there we can set up a meeting with the executive chefs to determine how we can meet your dietary needs.

Ithaca Tradition: Sunflower Fest 

Image of FlowersCheck out the area's newest fall event! With more than 20 attractions, there is something for everyone. Get lost in the First Responders–themed corn maze, pick the perfect pumpkin from the patch, test your aim with apple cannons, jump sky high on the Jump o'Lantern Jump Pad, challenge your friends to a friendly race around the trike speedway—and more! Don't miss the Instagram-worthy photo ops! 

Open Saturdays and Sundays 10 am until 5 pm from September 18 through October 25.

Student Org Spotlight: Futures Club 

Image of Students Discussing and Pointing at a BinderFutures Club focuses on advancing social justice initiatives and conversations on IC’s campus and beyond. We are a social activism group founded in the ideals of empathy, perspective taking, and mindfulness and promoting the idea that today’s youths have the power to shape our future. Through weekly discussions based on members’ interests and current events, we hope to educate one another and develop understanding of how to make a difference. Come to weekly Futures meetings to get started, and follow us on Instagram at @icfutures!
