All Supervisors Meeting
The All Supervisors Meeting is scheduled for November 13 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM in Emerson Suites. If you are unable to attend in person, please email Laney Sodoma at lsodoma@ithaca.edu to receive a link for the remote supervisor session on November 20 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
Mandatory Annual NYS Preventing Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Training
As part of our commitment to a respectful and inclusive workplace, all employees are required to complete training mandated by New York State on preventing sexual harassment and discrimination each fiscal year. In early November, you will receive an email notification with instructions to access the training in the Finance and HR Cloud. The training is self-paced and should take approximately 1.5 hours to complete. You can save your progress at any time and return later to finish, providing flexibility in your schedule.

Volunteer for the Ithaca College Employee Emergency Relief Fund Application Review Committee!
The Ithaca College Employee Emergency Relief Fund provides financial assistance to faculty and staff experiencing significant financial hardship affecting their basic living necessities due to unforeseen or unavoidable events. The fund is supported entirely by voluntary donations from the Ithaca College community and other entities and is administered in compliance with federal guidelines. Find out more about the program here, which will be available January 2025.
Are you ready to make an impact? The Ithaca College Employee Emergency Relief Fund is seeking volunteers to help faculty and staff experiencing unexpected financial hardships by serving on the Application Review Committee. We're seeking fair and compassionate individuals from all departments. Committee members must be benefit-eligible employees with at least one year of service at Ithaca College, commit to serving on the committee for at least one year, and have demonstrated their ability to maintain confidentiality. Committee members must also have the flexibility to attend application review meetings as needed when emergencies arise to help ensure everyone gets the support they deserve when they need it.

End of Year New Hires and Onboarding Sessions
As we approach the end of the year and the upcoming holidays, please note the following for new hire start dates. There will be no new hires scheduled to begin work the week of Thanksgiving (November 25 – 29) or after the week of December 9, 2024. Remaining in-person onboarding sessions are scheduled for November 4, November 11, November 18, December 2, and December 9. Sessions are held on the Garden Level of the Peggy Ryan Williams Center, G052, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. New hire start dates and in-person onboarding sessions will resume Monday, January 6, 2025.
